Hey my name is Alex, I’m from Slovakia and i live in the beautiful city of Odense.

My story began as a 14 year old seeking inspiration. Once I started with bodypainting and SFX I was unstoppable; keeping my discipline active to at least one big project a week.

As my skillset grew, so did my activity. I started being more consistent running my social media, in 2018 took a short special effects course at Vancouver Film School, participated in cosplay competitions with an aim to get the best make up prize. That with consistency luckily worked out in my favor.

I constantly continue to educate myself by taking more courses, leading an SFX class every Wednesday in Ungdomshuset, working as one of the facepainters in Odense Zoo and by putting my skills up for a challenge as a MUA for musicals and short danish movie productions (e.g. The Rhyme, Stille Sind or I Skyggernes Kamp).

I take pride in the flexibility of make-up that I can work with. Glam, gore, facepainting for kids and expressive bodypainting are all within my range. However, my artistic signature would be colors, extravaganza, looks that tell a story and what I would call elegantly creepy.

To me, make-up is a wonderful artform of self-expression that works with topics of metamorphosis; the change to completely

different (for a certain period of a time). It is escapism at its best and can be quite therapeutic as wlll. On top of that it is also practical in the world of movies, entertainment, photography, theatre and education among others. What is not to like?
